Georgia State University School of Music's Community Music Programs seeks to enrich the musical life of Atlanta. We offer comprehensive study opportunities to persons of all ages who are interested in the study of, or teaching of music, including:

  • Junior and Senior High School Performance Opportunities, including Singfest & Double Reed Day, and The Rialto Youth Jazz Orchestra...
  • Performance Instruction Opportunities, including the Student Leadership Institute, Masterclasses/Festivals (year-round), the Harrower Opera Workshop
  • Professional Development Opportunities
    Community Music Programs sponsors a variety of learning opportunities for professionals, including offering PLUís at the GMEA In-Service Conference, and the Atlanta Summer Conducting Institute
  • Summer Camps
    School of Music faculty host summer camps designed to help younger students hone their musicianship. These camps include the Summer Jazz Camp , the Student Leadership Institute, and the all new Summer Jazz Camps for Adults.
